Job summary

TSMC - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited is seeking a Senior / Principal AI Engineer for Business Intelligence in a hybrid role. You will lead AI/ML architecture, build frontier AI systems, and drive production‑grade ML pipelines to deliver strategic business insights.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and business teams, and communicate technical strategy to executives while operating in a fast, startup‑like environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software or ML engineering in high‑performance environments.
• 7+ years hands‑on software/ML engineering.
• 3+ years in technical leadership architecting scalable AI systems.
• Strong Python backend and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms and containerized workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design of AI‑native products and platforms.
• Implement frontier AI systems and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Lead rapid validation sprints and productionizing prototypes.
• Develop ML/Ops infra, model serving, testing, and observability.
• Research new AI use cases and accelerate their deployment.
• Mentor engineers and communicate technical strategy to stakeholders.
• Deliver executive‑level narratives and visuals of roadmaps and impact.
