TSMC Washington, LLC is seeking a Principal Technical Lead for AI Infrastructure to define and build an enterprise AI platform. You will shape architecture, drive long-term technical strategy, and enable thousands of engineers to securely develop, deploy, and operate AI apps across global regions.

This on-site role in Vancouver, WA works with North America and Taiwan teams, focusing on LLM serving, GPU infrastructure, observability, governance, and platform automation.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading architecture for distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years as Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Distinguished Engineer, or Technical Lead.
• Strong technical communication across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Define AI Platform Architecture and technical strategy for enterprise AI infrastructure.
• Build scalable enterprise AI infrastructure for model serving and inference.
• Design multi-region architecture with disaster recovery and global load balancing.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor senior engineers, and drive engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with North America and Taiwan teams to define long-term roadmaps.
