Job summary

JLL is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the next generation of AI-enabled product, platform, and engineering capabilities. This senior role partners with business and technology leaders to shape architectures, define enterprise standards, and drive responsible AI delivery across the organization.

The role requires deep AI architecture expertise, strong enterprise judgment, and delivery experience, with responsibilities spanning governance, security, and scalable design.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technology leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for strategic AI initiatives across products, platforms, and shared enterprise capabilities.
• Partner with business units, product leaders, and engineering teams to shape scalable, secure AI solution architectures.
• Define and evolve architecture standards, reference patterns, and guardrails for AI solutions and AI-enabled software development.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and patterns, and guide the organization on adoption.
• Provide architectural leadership for capabilities, agentic workflows, AI orchestration, evaluations, AI observability, and AI governance.
• Ensure AI solutions align with security, privacy, compliance, resiliency, observability, and maintainability requirements.
• Guide engineering teams on AI-powered PDLC across coding, testing, documentation, analysis, and delivery workflows.
• Mentor technical leads and senior engineers; raise the technical bar across the organization.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical strategy discussions, and investment decisions for AI and platform modernization.
