Travelers is seeking a Senior Architect in AI and Emerging Technology Architecture to design and deliver scalable AI solutions that align with business goals. You will partner with technology and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical platform designs, focusing on governance, cost efficiency, and reliability.

You will stay current with foundation models, agentic frameworks, and cloud AI services while mentoring teams and shaping the architectural direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field, or equivalent.
• 6+ years architecture/software engineering experience.
• Hands-on AI/ML development experience with modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define target state architecture and roadmaps for AI platforms.
• Lead proofs of concept to validate architecture feasibility.
• Architect scalable, production-grade AI solutions aligned to business needs.
• Collaborate across engineering, product and business teams.
• Communicate architectural direction and governance for responsible AI.
