Job summary

Landing Point seeks a Senior AI Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable AI solutions across the firm. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products, partner on MCP servers, and lead human-in-the-loop workflows.

The role requires 6–10+ years in software/data/ML/AI, strong Python and cloud skills, and experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and enterprise AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/engineering/ML or related field.
• 6–10+ years in software, data, ML, or AI engineering.
• Strong experience with LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, and AI security.
• Experience with agentic systems using Claude/SDKs like LangChain.
• Experience designing MCP servers and human-in-the-loop workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Lead AI Architect to define reference architectures and standards for AI workflows.
• Own design, implementation, and production operation of AI products.
• Design MCP servers and tools with clear schemas and permissions.
• Create human-in-the-loop workflows with approval gates and auditable handoffs.
• Build evaluation and regression harnesses for quality and safety checks.
• Implement security and governance controls with Cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with Data and Platform Engineering for deployment/ops.
• Evaluate models, platforms, vendors, and emerging capabilities.
• Develop components, review code, and troubleshoot issues.
• Document designs and handoffs; mentor AI engineers.

A global private investment firm with over $120 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior AI Architect to join their team. The role focuses on designing and delivering secure, scalable AI solutions across the firm.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with the Lead AI Architect to develop and apply reference architectures, engineering patterns, and standards for AI workflows.


• Own technical design, implementation, and production operation of assigned AI products.


• Design and deploy Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and tools with clear schemas and permissions.


• Design human-in-the-loop workflows with approval gates and auditable handoffs.


• Build evaluation and regression harnesses for quality and safety checks.


• Implement security and governance controls in partnership with Cybersecurity.


• Partner with Data and Platform Engineering for deployment and operations support.


• Evaluate models, platforms, vendors, and emerging capabilities.


• Develop critical components, review code, and troubleshoot technical issues.


• Document solution designs and operational handoffs.


• Mentor AI engineers and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and software-engineering skills, including APIs and cloud services.


• Experience integrating AI with enterprise data platforms and business applications.


• Preferred experience with Snowflake, Azure, or AWS, and enterprise AI platforms.

Compensation

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000, Plus Bonus
