Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer for AMD Client AI Solutions to accelerate the adoption and quality of local AI experiences on Ryzen AI platforms. You will work across Windows AI, OEM/ISV collaboration, and provide technical collateral ownership to resolve complex issues.

You will partner with product marketing, applications engineering, and software teams to enhance the end-to-end developer experience and documentation for AI workloads on Windows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in AI inference solutions or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on programming and debugging in Python and C/C++ on Windows.
• Experience with AI/ML inference workflows and frameworks (PyTorch, ONNX, ONNX Runtime, Hugging Face).
• Experience writing developer documentation, tutorials, or engineering guides.
• Knowledge of performance analysis, benchmarking, and workload characterization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Windows Local AI and Windows ML, including model deployment and hardware-accelerated inference on Ryzen AI platforms.
• Partner with Microsoft and internal teams to validate Windows AI scenarios and communicate requirements.
• Provide high-touch technical support for OEM and ISV issues, reproduce problems, triage, and guide workarounds.
• Own and maintain customer-facing technical documentation for Ryzen AI and related guides.
• Create or improve reference applications, sample code, and diagnostic utilities for AI workloads on Windows.
• Plan and execute competitive analysis and benchmarking, translating findings into actionable insights.
