Job summary

Logisnext Americas Inc. is seeking an AI Data Architect & Engineer to design enterprise data architecture and hands-on data pipelines supporting telematics, analytics, and AI-driven applications.

You will work with ERP, CRM, service, and vendor systems to standardize data for predictive maintenance and operational intelligence. The role requires 7+ years in data engineering or architecture, strong SQL/Python skills, and experience with Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing workflows.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Kafka or similar event streaming tech.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data integration knowledge.
• Experience with APIs, JSON, streaming data, and IoT data structures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evolve scalable enterprise data architecture for telematics and enterprise data.
• Build and optimize cloud-based data pipelines for analytics, AI, and reporting.
• Develop ingestion pipelines for high-volume telemetry data from forklifts and sensors.
• Integrate data across ERP, CRM, service, parts, and vendor telematics systems.
• Standardize and enrich data for predictive maintenance and AI applications.
• Collaborate with IT, Analytics, Product, Service, and vendors on data solutions.
• Support data governance, security, observability, and DevOps/DataOps practices.
