Job summary

Umanist NA is seeking an Engagement Manager for CPG and Retail, focusing on client advisory, technical sales support, and AI/analytics consulting to drive strategic growth initiatives. You will shape solutions, engage executive stakeholders, and collaborate across delivery teams globally.

The role requires deep AI, data engineering, analytics, and enterprise transformation experience, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead conversations with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise AI/Data consulting, technical pre-sales, analytics consulting, or client-facing engineering leadership.
• Direct experience serving enterprise CPG and/or Retail clients is mandatory.
• Hands-on practitioner experience in the CPG/Retail domain is mandatory; exposure alone is not sufficient.
• Proven experience leading discovery workshops, executive discussions, solutioning sessions, RFP responses, and proposal/SOW development.
• Demonstrated credibility with CIO, CDO, CTO, Data & Analytics, Digital, and business leadership.
• Ability to independently lead client conversations and drive outcomes.
• Strong storytelling, executive presentation, and business-translation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and account leadership to drive strategic AI and analytics conversations with enterprise CPG/Retail clients.
• Lead discovery workshops, executive discussions, and solutioning sessions.
• Translate business priorities into scalable AI, data, analytics, and engineering solutions.
• Shape proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and strategic transformation roadmaps.
• Support large deal pursuits, RFP responses, and client presentations.
