Job summary

Simplot in Boise, Idaho seeks a Data Science Analyst, AI & Analytics Enablement to drive the company’s AI vision by applying analytics, automation, and AI to boost productivity and decision-making across the business.

You will partner with business users to define use cases and co-develop solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, Copilot, and Dataverse, while establishing standards and reusable training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 8+ years building analytics, reporting, automation, or AI solutions using Copilot, Power Platform, Fabric, Power BI, or Databricks.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Define and scope use cases and determine technologies (Power BI, Fabric, Copilot, Power Platform, Dataverse).
• Provide hands-on guidance and co-development support for self-service analytics and AI solutions.
• Coach business users on architecture patterns, standards, and solution limitations or risks.
• Develop training materials, examples, and reusable learning resources.
• Deliver workshops, demonstrations, office hours, and enablement sessions.
• Measure adoption, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve user success.
• Research, explore, and assess practical business use cases for emerging AI and analytics technologies.
• Facilitate AI solution risk assessments and governance reviews with Security, Legal, Procurement, and stakeholders.
• Assist solution owners in understanding and applying AI governance standards, policies, and required controls.
