Job summary

Google Kirkland, WA, USA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Distributed Runtime Trust (DRT) team. You will design and implement secure agent infrastructure, spanning client runtimes and back-end orchestration services for AI agents across Google Cloud and non-GCP environments.

The role emphasizes building scalable, verifiable trust for AI agents, with opportunities to influence security practices across distributed systems and cloud platforms. In-person interviews are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms and software development in one or more programming languages (Go, Java, or C++).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other similar cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional security and platform teams to unlock the Agent Cloud ecosystem.
