Job summary

Google Kirland, WA seeks a Senior Software Engineer for AI Agent Security to help secure agent interactions across environments. You will work on client-side runtimes and back-end orchestration, provisioning and attesting agent identities in GCP and non-GCP settings, enabling governed access between agents and services.

The role emphasizes distributed runtime trust, cross‑functional collaboration, and building scalable infrastructure with exposure to security and AI workloads at scale.

Qualifications

• 5 years building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or related compute/storage architecture.
• 5 years DS/algorithms and software development in Go/Java/C++, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders for technology choices; collaborate with cross-functional security and platform teams.
• Triage issues and debug across hardware, network, or service operations.
• Design and develop foundational infrastructure to establish verifiable trust and identity for AI agents.
• Develop scalable back-end orchestration to manage runtime enrollment and agent identity provisioning.
