Job summary

Obin AI is seeking AI Engineers to design and deploy LLM-powered agents, work directly with major credit and insurance clients, and own key production infrastructure. You will influence core platform design and help define Obin’s engineering standards, culture, and long-term roadmap.

You will lead architecture discussions, drive scalable systems, and balance performance, cost, and explainability while delivering high-impact AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years hands-on experience building LLM-based agents and/or RAG systems in production.
• Logging, evaluating, optimizing AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
• Experience with cloud infra (preferably GCP) and APIs.
• Hunger to move fast, own outcomes, and build something enduring.
• Strong intuition around system architecture, performance, and scaling.
• Clear communication, especially in ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces.

Responsibilities

• Designing and Deploying LLM-Powered Agents using prompt design, tools, orchestration, and evaluation.
• Working directly with customers to align AI solutions with ROI.
• Owning production infrastructure and maintaining backend systems and APIs.
• Evaluating and optimizing AI applications balancing accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost.
• Contributing to core platform design and building reusable infrastructure for agent deployment.
• Setting engineering culture, hiring bar, and long-term technical roadmap.
