Job summary

KBR's Mission Technology Solutions team seeks an Agile Systems Engineer to support the Intelligence Community Customer Ground Enterprise Directorate. You will design, develop, test, and deliver systems that enable intelligence missions with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and data analysis.

Ideal candidates have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 5+ years in systems engineering, and experience in agile/DevOps environments.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph required.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of systems engineering experience with leadership in technical projects; experience in agile environments and DevOps practices.
Proficiency with systems engineering tools, Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), and relevant programming or scripting languages.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Participate in the full software/system development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance.
Translate requirements with product owners, stakeholders, developers, QA, and operations into system solutions.
Apply Agile principles: manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables iteratively.
Design and implement scalable, secure system architectures aligned with business goals.
Debug defects, troubleshoot system problems, and implement prompt fixes.
Ensure systems meet quality, security, and regulatory standards.
Create and maintain documentation: design and implementation details.
