Job summary
Socket.dev seeks an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach SME to lead Agile practices in a DoD program. The role requires guiding multiple teams in SAFe at scale, facilitating events, and ensuring on-time delivery within a large federal project.
Candidates should have 7+ years in Agile coaching, strong experience with JIRA/Confluence, and a U.S. citizenship. Hybrid telework from Fort Belvoir, VA is offered and background checks are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years as Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
- 7+ years experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- 7+ years experience with Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience teaching Agile framework concepts.
- Experience defining Stories and prioritizing Team Backlog.
- CSM/Certified ScrumMaster Certification.
- U.S. citizen.
- Background check required.
- Ability to meet security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Guide service-level program managers using Agile in a large program with multiple teams, releases, and projects.
- Demonstrate depth of Scrum/SAFe practices at scale.
- Coordinate multiple teams in agile software development for large-scale enterprise programs.
- Overcome constraints for Agile in federal contracting environments.
- Coach teams to achieve CI/CD delivery.
- Assist in organizational transition to Agile from traditional structures.
- Help define Definition of Done and estimate stories.
