Job summary

Tria Federal is seeking a Lead Business Analyst and UI designer to support a large CBP project in an Agile environment. You will elicit and document user-driven requirements and ensure they are reflected in software development. The role includes UI mockups, backlog grooming, and coordinating with Govt Product Owners.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of BA experience, strong Agile experience, and the ability to lead Scrum ceremonies while collaborating with stakeholders across teams.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Business Analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience eliciting requirements from clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in consulting and working on large Federal programs.
• Experience mapping business processes and documenting User Stories/Use Cases.
• Knowledge of BPMN is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as BA on agile software teams for a CBP project.
• Coordinate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, SMEs, stakeholders, and development/test teams.
• Elicit and model requirements, including as-is/to-be processes and BPMN diagrams.
• Create UI mockups/wireframes and UX design artifacts.
• Facilitate JAD sessions with stakeholders and users.
• Maintain and groom the Product Backlog and write User Stories with acceptance criteria.
• Document requirements in Confluence and in the team wiki.
• Assist PO with scoping, prioritization, and backlog grooming.
• Act as Scrum Master as needed and guide Agile ceremonies.
• Estimate story sizes and track team velocity.
