Job summary

Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. (GOH) seeks experienced equipment operators for heavy highway construction. Operators will excavate, prepare, maintain, and repair civil projects while safely working around live traffic and following quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be prompt, reliable, and dependable.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent; Heavy Equipment Operation training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment in live traffic and construction sites.
• Perform daily safety checks and routine maintenance.
• Read grade stakes and use a lock level; assist with pipe placement.
• Complete required paperwork, and communicate equipment issues to supervisors.
