Job summary

ETAS is seeking an experienced Senior Agentic Software Engineer to develop and deploy production-grade AI systems. You will orchestrate robust Python-based back-end architecture, integrate state-of-the-art Large Language Models, optimize vector databases, and deploy scalable, secure APIs on Microsoft Azure.

Close collaboration with OEM customers, agile planning, and strict software quality standards are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive experience in back-end architecture, Python, and AI systems.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into production systems.
• Strong understanding of software testing, CI/CD, security, and devops practices.

Responsibilities

• Own problems end-to-end from user needs through architecture, implementation, verification and operation.
• Deliver AI-driven solutions primarily through coding agents; translate intent into specs and manage multiple streams.
• Ensure correctness, security and maintainability of merged code with strong verification mindset.
• Design verifiable tests and typed interfaces; enforce CI gates and evals for agent-produced code.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, infrastructure, DevOps, and data topics.
