Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Software Engineer to help build and scale agentic AI systems, and to architect workloads for inference under realistic conditions. You will collaborate with evaluation teams, apply expertise in AI agents and performance evaluation, and use coding agents like Codex and Claude Code.

An MS in CS (or related field) with 5+ years of software development is required; AI inferencing experience is a big plus.

What You Will Be Doing

• Building agentic systems in coding and research domains internally
• Architecting systems that analyze inference workload dynamics of leading agentic harnesses under realistic conditions
• Collaborating with teams that lead evaluation systems for software and hardware to improve eval quality

What We Need To See

• Strong experience with building AI agents
• Familiarity with how to evaluate performance of AI agents
• Experience using coding agents like Codex and Claude Code
• MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience), with 5 years of relevant software development experience. Huge plus for recent experience to be in AI inferencing or Agents.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
