Job summary

Amazon Science is seeking a passionate scientist to advance Agentic AI and foundational models. You will lead research on efficient Agent optimization/learning, from RL-based fine-tuning to context optimization, building a foundational layer for AWS customers to deploy reliable Agents.

You will shape product and science roadmaps, gain hands-on experience with AWS-scale resources, and influence the end-to-end journey from research to customer impact.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in CS/CE/ML or related field.
• Patents or publications at top-tier conferences/journals preferred.
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python or related languages.

Responsibilities

• Define short- and long-term science roadmap for Agent optimization/learning research.
• Develop concrete science plan, implement, and validate ideas before production.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transfer science innovations to AWS customer-facing products.
