Job summary

ZealHire Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer 2 - Architect to lead the architectural direction of a large-scale AI platform. You will drive decisions on multi-agent orchestration, LLM integration, and tool-use patterns while guiding engineering teams and validating approaches with code when needed.

The role requires hands-on experience with production-grade AI systems, MLOps-like practices, and a strong focus on observability, security, and scalability in a hybrid Fort Worth environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture.
• 3+ years designing AI/ML platform systems.
• Hands-on with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
• Advanced Python programming and one other language (Java/Go/TypeScript).
• Experience building AI/LLM powered systems at scale.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and tool-use patterns.
• Familiarity with observability, security, testing, and failure handling for AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve architectures for multi-agent orchestration and LLM pipelines.
• Lead architecture reviews and produce ADRs.
• Define API contracts, data flows, and platform guidelines.
• Collaborate with ML and software engineers and product teams.
• Ensure components are scalable, secure, and production-ready.
• Evaluate and integrate LangGraph, LangChain, and related frameworks.
• Mentor engineers on production-grade AI systems and best practices.
