Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to lead a remote development team in the USA, delivering production-grade AI applications using Amazon Bedrock and Strands. You will architect, design, and implement agentic AI solutions while guiding onshore and offshore engineers.

The role demands hands-on development, strong knowledge of AWS services, and experience with prompt engineering, RAG, and multi-agent workflows. Remote work in the USA with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must have Conversational AI & Agentic AI experience.
• Hands-on AWS cloud & infrastructure experience with Bedrock, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Experience building production-grade Generative AI apps using Bedrock and agent orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore and offshore Dev teams.
• Hands-on development, design and architecture per client requirements.
