Built In is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design and build autonomous agentic systems powering its product suite. You will create multi-agent architectures that turn insights into outcomes, working with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

The role emphasizes human-in-the-loop collaboration and production-ready reliability. You’ll own the lifecycle from rapid prototype to production, optimize for tokens, latency, cost, and observability, and collaborate with software engineers and product

Formación

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Shipped production agentic systems for an employer or customers.
• Evaluation frameworks for LLMs (e.g., LLM-as-a-Judge, trace-based testing).
• Hands-on with frontier model APIs (OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, Anthropic).
• Strong Python for AI orchestration and workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Architect agentic workflows including Reflection, Self-Correction, Planning, and Multi-Agent orchestration.
• Own the lifecycle from rapid prototype to production deployment with token budgets and latency targets.
• Evolve multi-model intelligence by synthesizing outputs from multiple models.
• Build scalable cloud infrastructure and serverless backends with observability.
• Drive evaluation, quality feedback loops, and model/prompt evolution.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to integrate agentic behavior into production frameworks.
