Job summary

John Deere is seeking a skilled service technician to independently perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on a range of agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment. You will participate in training programs and stay current with John Deere and competitive products, while maintaining equipment and handling field work as required.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates preferred) and 5+ years of repair experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
5+ years of professional experience performing service repairs.
Ability to perform advanced repairs following technical manuals and procedures.

Responsibilities

Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, compact construction equipment, and turf equipment.
Participates in service training programs required for skill development.
Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
Maintains vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
Keeps a clean and orderly work area.
Follows safety rules and regulations in all assignments.
Completes reports and requests parts as needed.
Accounts for time and materials per dealership processes.
Communicates professionally with manufacturers, team members, and customers.
Will perform diagnosis and repair in the field.
May provide delivery services when needed
May conduct or support customer clinics.
