Job summary

Deer Country Farm & Lawn, Inc. seeks an experienced service technician to independently diagnose and repair agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and field service while staying current on John Deere and competitor products.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (associates preferred) and 5+ years of repair experience. Valid DOT/driver license may be needed; some Saturdays could be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• 5+ years of professional service repair experience.
• Proficient with Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment.
• Participates in service training to develop skills and knowledge.
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintain vehicle and tool inventory in good condition.
• Follow safety rules and regulations while performing tasks.
• Complete reports and parts requests; track time and materials.
