Job summary

gpac is conducting a confidential search for a Senior Loan Officer with a strong background in agricultural lending, commercial credit, and relationship development. This position focuses on managing and expanding high-value client relationships and ensuring sound credit quality.

The ideal candidate will handle 30–40 relationships, target $1MM+ balances, and partner with Credit and Operations to optimize underwriting and service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of credit and underwriting experience.
• Strong agricultural lending background.
• Proven business development and relationship management experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial credit.
• Ability to maintain credit quality while growing relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 30-40 customer relationships.
• Develop and maintain agricultural and commercial lending relationships.
• Focus on relationships with $1MM+ aggregate balances.
• Generate new business while retaining and expanding existing relationships.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned customers.
• Conduct annual renewals, pricing discussions, and term negotiations.
• Partner with Credit, Operations, and other internal teams.
• Monitor portfolio performance, utilization, and credit risk.
• Collect and review financial statements and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, portfolio, and relationship activity.
• Identify opportunities for additional financing and banking services.
