Job summary

Evapco is seeking an experienced engineer to prepare proposals, liaise with domestic aftermarket clients, and manage projects from setup to erection supervision. The role involves collaborating with sales, engineering, and procurement teams as well as equipment manufacturers and contractors.

The candidate will develop performance reports, run thermal design calculations, and respond to inquiries using inhouse tools, while maintaining strong communication with EPC clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in similar roles related to power and/or heavy industry
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification
• Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment including fans, motors, gearboxes and vacuum equipment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all other disciplines
• Ability to understand and interpret operations manuals, drawings, equipment datasheets, contracts, etc.
• A self-starter, team player with discipline to work while traveling, has a practical and hands on approach and the ability to prioritize tasks according to their urgency to ensure and deadlines are met
• The ability to manage field labor for safe and efficient work on site

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and liaise with domestic aftermarket clients
• Support a comprehensive representative network and manage projects from setup to erection supervision
• Prepare performance reports and model performance using inhouse software and hand calculations
• Prepare thermal designs and proposals for aftermarket and new equipment inquiries
• Communicate effectively with EPC clients and cross-functional teams
