The role involves laying out, fabricating, assembling, and repairing tooling used in aircraft parts production, following blueprints and CATIA data, while coordinating engineering activities and meeting budgets. The candidate should hold a four-year engineering degree with substantial aerospace manufacturing experience or a long history in manufacturing engineering, and be prepared to oversee cost-reduction efforts

Formación

• A four-year Engineering degree with 8 years in Aerospace Engineering, or 12 years in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in tool design and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilidades

• Leads and coordinates engineering team activities for tool design and manufacture.
• Plans, directs, and monitors technical activities to meet estimates and budgets.
• Develops manufacturing, engineering and quality process standards.
• Administers personnel functions including recruiting and performance evaluations.
• Identifies and solves problems with root cause corrective actions.
