Job summary

Redwire Space Missions seeks a Contractor - Test Engineering Technician Level IV at our Littleton, CO facility for up to 6 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a Redwire employee. You will support environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms, operate test hardware, and help maintain test fixtures to advance spaceflight capabilities.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in aerospace testing, familiarity with DMMs/DAQs, AS9100 knowledge, and precise handling of small components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with aerospace assembly and inspection tools: torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, multimeters.
• Experience writing technical work instructions for Environmental Testing.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems.
• Excellent manual dexterity; able to handle small parts (#0-80).
• Experience using electronics equipment (DMMs, power supplies, DAQs).

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures.
• Operate spaceflight hardware and test fixtures using data acquisition systems.
• Attach and remove components on spaceflight hardware.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion.
• Perform maintenance on test fixtures.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations.
• Idea generation of potential process improvements.
