Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Clearwater, FL seeks a Sr Engineering Technician to support aerospace testing operations, including setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of instruments and DC circuits. You will help ensure performance and safety of aircraft systems and components for on-time delivery.

You will report to a Supervisor, work onsite, and collaborate with engineering teams. The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience, a high school diploma, and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an engineering technician or similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Security Clearance at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on aerospace systems to evaluate performance and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions based on test findings.
• Document procedures and findings and communicate them to key stakeholders.
• May assist in setup of specialized test equipment and guide entry level technicians.
