Protingent Staffing has a direct-hire Senior Aerospace Test Engineer opportunity. The role leads advanced aerospace experimentation efforts, defining objectives and overseeing ground and flight testing, including subscale wind tunnel and full‑scale demonstrations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of aerospace experimentation experience, direct supersonic/hypersonic testing exposure, and strong data acquisition skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace experimentation.
• Direct experience with supersonic and hypersonic flight and ground experimentation.
• Experience with wind tunnel test facilities and complex aerospace test campaigns.
• Expertise in aerospace test instrumentation and data acquisition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead definition and oversight of ground and flight aerodynamics experimentation.
• Oversee wind tunnel testing, high-enthalpy tunnel testing, and full-scale vehicle wind tunnel testing.
• Define objectives, mission requirements, configurations, instrumentation, and data acquisition needs for testing.
• Support full-scale flight demonstrations with objective definitions and requirements.
