Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Colorado is seeking an experienced Aerospace Test Engineer to plan, implement, test, and document integration activities for in-house and COTS/GOTS components. You will help ensure system performance under thermal, vacuum, and vibration environments and coordinate with programs across the company.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or physics, 8+ years in aerospace test or manufacturing, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum 8 years of aerospace test engineering and/or manufacturing experience.
• Practical experience conducting tests in Thermal, Vacuum (TVAC), and Vibration environments.
• Proven experience with automated test processes and Space test engineering standards (AS9100).
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal support groups and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of system components.
• Coordinates subsystem/system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
