Job summary

The Structures Company in Tustin, CA is seeking a Structures Design Engineer to develop aircraft and spacecraft structural configurations, create detailed 3D parts and drawings, and coordinate with design, production, and test teams to ensure flight readiness.

This long-term contract role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 8+ years in aerospace, with CATIA and PLM experience, GD&T, and familiarity with CFR/parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience in aerospace with strong design emphasis.
• Knowledge of aircraft structural design and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural concepts, preliminary and detailed designs for aircraft/spacecraft configurations.
• Create and release 3D parts, assemblies, installations and drawings.
• Coordinate with engineering stakeholders during design, production, integration, test, delivery and operation.
