Job summary

Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. seeks an experienced Stress Engineer to develop creative and technically superior engineering solutions for aero projects.

You will lead analysis efforts, advancing from concept to detailed design with accountability and leadership onsite. Responsibilities include static, fatigue and dynamic analysis of aero structures, hand calculations for primary/secondary structures, and preparing technical reports while collaborating with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Stress Engineer in Aerospace.
• Experience with aero structures, nacelle and EBU systems.
• Proficient in finite element analysis and stress calculations.
• Experience with Nastran/Patran/FEMAP.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform static, fatigue and dynamic stress analysis for aero structures.
• Use hand calculations for primary and secondary structures.
• Work with metallic and composite structures.
• Provide technical solutions from concept to detailed design.
• Use FEA to extract loads and solve problems.
• Participate in reviews with clients and suppliers.
• Prepare stress reports and review them.
• Define scope of work and execution methodology to meet requirements.
