Job summary

Firefly Aerospace in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the test team to shape testing strategies for Flight and Ground software, including digital and hardware-in-the-loop environments.

You will lead design of test procedures, mentor engineers, develop automated pipelines and unit tests, and ensure compliance with customer requirements, enabling reliable launches and mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 5 to 8+ years of experience with formal software testing.
• Strong leadership in software testing initiatives with track record of delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex test procedures for all-digital and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
• Architect and develop robust software frameworks for automating test case execution and report generation.
• Mentor team members and lead automated testing pipelines for daily commits of Ground and Flight Software.
