Honeywell Aerospace in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Sr Advanced Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance test software for INUs and SBCs. You will work hybrid from Clearwater, reporting to the Engineering Manager, with 100% on-site for the first 90 days.

Responsibilities include leading software efforts, ensuring quality and timely delivery, and collaborating across teams to meet aerospace safety standards. A strong background in C++, Python, and embedded RTOS is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• US citizenship with capability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years with test equipment or aerospace environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document advanced test software for space products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements.
• Lead software development efforts and ensure quality and timelines.
