Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Sr Advanced Engineering Support Specialist to provide expert technical support to engineering teams in design, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced aerospace technologies. You will collaborate across functions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive product performance and reliability.
The role reports to the Engineering Manager and is based on-site at Clearwater, FL.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 4 years of experience in engineering functions.
- Advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering are valued.
- Strong knowledge of CAD, MATLAB, and PLM tools; data analysis and technical documentation experience.
- Experience with AS9100 and FAA regulatory requirements is beneficial.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing processes and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support to engineering teams in product design, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex engineering issues.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and performance.
- Assist in development and documentation of engineering processes and best practices.
- Analyze data and generate technical reports to support decision-making and project progress.
