Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector to lead complex inspections of aerospace hardware at Cape Canaveral. You will interpret GD&T, CAD models, and engineering drawings, guiding production teams and ensuring conformance throughout manufacturing and assembly.

The role requires 6+ years in aerospace quality inspection, with ability to work in a high-regulation environment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressively responsible Quality Inspection experience in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Experience performing advanced in-process and final inspections with precision measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, specs, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex inspections independently using CAD models, drawings, and process specs.
• Review requirements, tolerances, and acceptance criteria to determine pass/fail status.
• Provide technical guidance on inspection methods and interpretation of drawings.
• Collaborate with Test & Launch, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering to resolve issues.
• Investigate non-conformance, support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, engineering requirements, and quality standards.
