Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Advanced Product Development QA Engineer (Finance) to join a broad engineering team. You will participate in all phases of product development, conduct design/development audits, and mentor less experienced engineers.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with software, hardware, and system standards (DO-178/DO-254, AS9100/AS9115). You will work in a hybrid schedule with domestic travel and collaborate across Honeywell teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as engineering or sciences.
• Minimum 6 years in engineering development or QA auditing.
• Ability to obtain security clearance per U.S. export laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design and development audits across Honeywell sites and suppliers.
• Oversee product life cycle activities from concept to production for compliance.
• Assess activities and report non-conformances against standards (DO-178/DO-254, AS9100/AS9115).
• Ensure systems, software, and hardware activities follow defined procedures.
• Interface with customers and support regulatory assessments.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams and management on design/development compliance.
• Coordinate with supplier quality to meet Honeywell and customer requirements.
• Limited domestic travel may be required.
