Job summary

Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI), a division of Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC), is seeking a Senior Planner in Valencia, CA.

You will plan material work orders, monitor flow from demand receipt through manufacturing, and coordinate with Master Scheduler, planners, and program management to meet customer requirements and production milestones. The Senior Planner will analyze data, update status reports, and drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling using ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or technical field.
• 7+ years planning/scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, RCCA training helpful.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan production work orders based on MRP requirements and customer specs.
• Release work orders to production and prepare shop floor packets.
• Plan and reschedule orders to meet demand and capacity.
• Develop, update and maintain status reports and lines of balance.
• Coordinate with M.E. and engineering on routing/BOM.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in planning and scheduling.
• Support SIOP and NPI processes.
