Job summary

Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) in Placentia, CA, is seeking a Senior Planner for an established aerospace manufacturer. You will own an assigned product line, coordinate material and production requirements, develop shipment plans and resolve shortages.

This senior role emphasizes leading weekly/monthly schedules, analyzing MRP, expediting shortages, and collaborating with Operations and Procurement to ensure on-time delivery and revenue recovery. Strong aerospace experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of planning experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong MRP and production planning knowledge.
• Understanding of procurement and outside processing.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• APICS training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly and monthly shipment schedules.
• Analyse MRP requirements and material availability.
• Identify and expedite shortages through production.
• Coordinate with Operations and Procurement.
• Manage material allocation against delivery requirements.
• Support schedule and revenue recovery plans.
• Provide guidance to other planners.
