Job summary

Castelion Corporation is seeking a Sr. R&D Technician - Mechanisms in Torrance, CA to execute assembly builds for CAS/TVCA components supporting flight and development activities in 2026.

This hands‑on role focuses on production readiness, tooling, and process implementation. You will mentor junior staff, troubleshoot development issues, and help deliver high‑quality vehicle assemblies at scale, across multiple systems and environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of hands‑on mechanical experience in testing aerospace/automotive systems, maintenance/troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, and/or fabrication/assembly of complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 75 lbs, walk on uneven terrain, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, and work outdoors in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Execute on complex aerospace mechanism builds to support flight objectives.
• Transition mechanism build processes from development to production readiness.
• Develop tooling and infrastructure for production builds.
• Mentor lower‑level engineers and technicians on manufacturing processes.
