Job summary

Kearfott Corporation seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead MBSE activities for inertial navigation products used in aircraft, UAVs, missiles, and vehicles. You will define, model, test, and integrate complex systems, and collaborate across engineering IPTs with customers.

Required 4+ years in aerospace/defense systems engineering, MBSE proficiency, and hands-on use of Cameo AE, DOORS, and Office tools. US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BSc/BE or MS/MEng in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of MBSE experience.
• 4+ years of aerospace/defense systems engineering, integration and test.
• Experience in requirements capture, traceability, flow-down and decomposition using IBM DOORS or comparable tool.
• Strong knowledge of Cameo AE, DOORS, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer requirements into digital MBSE models.
• Communicate with customers and engineering teams to define product features using digital engineering.
• Analyze system and behavior to guide diagnosis and corrective actions.
• Apply MBSE to accelerate development, testing, deployment, and upgrades.
• Support senior engineers and managers in interfacing with customers and in project execution.
