Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Material Handler for Voyager Lunar Systems, based in Pittsburgh, to manage the flow, storage, and accurate handling of aerospace materials and certified components from receipt of goods to final shipping.

The role reports to the Director of Supply Chain within the Supply Chain Department and is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA. Ideal candidates have an associate degree with 4+ years in materials mgmt, MS Office proficiency, and MRP system experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field with 4+ years in materials management in a complex R&D/low-rate production environment OR 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Experience using an MRP system
• Able to work autonomously with a self-starting work ethic

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming aerospace materials, hardware, and components against purchase orders, Certificates of Conformance, and technical documentation.
• Prepare and kit materials for work orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers, revisions, and configuration requirements.
• Perform inventory transactions within ERP/MRP systems to maintain real-time visibility of material availability.
• Monitor shelf-life items such as adhesives, sealants, chemicals, and other regulated aerospace materials.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies in alignment with audit and compliance requirements.
• Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials, working closely with Quality, MRB, and Engineering teams.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, powered industrial trucks, and other lifting equipment in compliance with aerospace safety procedures.
• Coordinate packaging, preservation, and shipment of flight-critical components using approved aerospace packaging standards.
