Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor for our Santa Isabel, PR site. You will lead daily production, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

This onsite role supports third shift (Mon-Fri, 9:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m.). You must be a U.S. person and reside in Puerto Rico at start; relocation is not offered. The position focuses on safety, quality, and cost improvements with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• English and Spanish communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations for assigned production cells, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Coach and develop manufacturing employees, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor schedules, prioritize work, and optimize workflow to meet commitments.
• Drive quality compliance and ensure processes and documentation meet standards.
• Coordinate with Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics to resolve issues.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions to cut costs and improve efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and waste reduction.
• Support automation and digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing.
• Interface with customers to resolve production concerns and maintain high satisfaction.
• Maintain safe working environment and ensure EH&S compliance.
