Chromalloy Corp. in Windsor, CT seeks a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations to lead aerospace manufacturing and repair operations while driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance across product lines.

This role serves as the link between customer commitments, operational execution, and business performance. This position partners with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to translate demand requirements into executable plans, ensuring on-time delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of leadership in aerospace manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong track record delivering safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and labor management.
• Data-driven decision making using KPIs to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and repair operations while ensuring safety, quality, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Own the operational budget / P&L for assigned product lines and drive margin improvement and cost control.
• Translate demand forecasts into staffing, scheduling and capacity plans.
• Drive throughput and readiness to meet production schedules and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Commercial teams.
• Monitor OTD, schedule attainment, productivity, inventory turns, labor efficiency, COPQ.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans for capacity, material, staffing and commitments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and capacity.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality and delivery issues.
• Develop and coach leaders and employees, fostering accountability and engagement.
