Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Production Supervisor in Orangeburg, NY to lead manufacturing production teams and drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. You will schedule daily/weekly production, coach employees, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet customer commitments and continuous improvement goals.

As a people leader, you’ll develop talent, improve processes, and ensure 5S and workplace organization.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing supervision experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
• Assign, prioritize, and execute daily and weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and other departments to meet customer commitments.
• Ensure materials, supplies, equipment, and staffing are available to support production plans.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, routing instructions, and job orders for employees.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Maintain and improve 5S, housekeeping, and workplace organization standards.
• Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees to build capability and performance.
• Manage employee performance, attendance, accountability, and development.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, corrective actions, and talent development.
• Drive Lean, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives.
• Monitor production metrics and communicate performance results to leadership.
