Job summary

Martinic Engineering Inc in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to optimize cost and reliability of manufacturing processes for aerospace components. You will define methods and sequencing for complex parts, and provide manufacturing plans for product design or modification.

Responsibilities include evaluating processes, developing and instructing manufacturing methods, leading lean initiatives, and interfacing with suppliers and customers to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum seven years in aerospace manufacturing engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing and production engineering.
• Experience with continuous improvement and lean principles.
• CAD/CAM systems experience required.
• Ability to analyze drawings and communicate with teams.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex manufacturing processes with analysis and supplier input.
• Develop and modify manufacturing processes; prepare work instructions.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean projects on high-impact areas.
• Interface with customers to present program status and corrective plans.
• Improve efficiency by planning workflow, layout, and for DFMA.
• Ensure product and process quality through testing and validation.
• Analyze data to propose changes in methods and materials.
• Share knowledge and support cross-functional teams.
• Stay current with industry practices and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor operational staff and participate in project teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers for improvements and cost reductions.
• Comply with environmental, safety and legal requirements.
