The Atlas Group in Wichita, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to review customer drawings, specifications, and models using CATIA to convert for manufacturing and to develop manufacturing plans for parts and assemblies. You will create visual work instructions and collaborate with our customers’ engineering team to resolve technical issues and ensure quality and delivery requirements.

The ideal candidate will have aerospace manufacturing knowledge and CATIA V5 experience, along with the

• 3–5 years experience in a manufacturing environment (machine shop, weld shop, precision sheet metal, assembly shop) or equivalent.
• Reading customer drawings, parts lists (BOMs), specifications.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and aerospace assembly & sheet metal manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze drawings, routers and BOMs or other technical documents.
• Verify inventory and current quotes in the system.
• Obtain quotes from customers and vendors.
• Analyze engineering and production data.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of manufacturing or machining processes.
• Determine priority of RFQs and maintain customer relationships.
• Use CATIA or other industry standard modeling software for drafting.
