Job summary

Parker Meggitt Simi Valley is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair complex equipment across the facility, following safety policies and manufacturer specs.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, electromechanical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. You will work with a team, operate forklifts, and support preventive maintenance programs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary certificate/high school diploma and relevant work experience.
• Vocational training, apprenticeships or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electromechanical and mechanical components and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, service and repairs of a complex nature on assigned equipment or systems.
• Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment.
• Follows detailed instructions and blueprints for jobs and setup operations.
• Administers the preventive maintenance system and CMMS reports.
• Determines preventive maintenance requirements for new equipment and trains operators.
• Maintains a safe and effective work area and uses PPE.
• Supports the Facilities Function as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Regular attendance; may require nights/weekends and variable schedules.
