Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer - Logistics Support for the Los Angeles area. The role is in person/hybrid at LA AFB, El Segundo, with active TS/SCI clearance and full-time employment.

Responsibilities include developing sustainment plans, advising on logistics requirements, and coordinating across government and contractors. Candidates should have 10+ years in acquisition logistics and DoD space programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in acquisition logistics, IPS, sustainment planning, or related field; +15 years preferred.
• Experience supporting Space Force, SSC/SN, or space programs.
• Experience with DoD acquisition programs and govt/contractor teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain LCSPs and logistics strategies.
• Support planning across IPS elements: maintenance, supply, data, training, equipment, facilities, manpower.
• Assess contractor logistics products and deliverables for SOWs, CDRLs, manuals, training.
• Advise programs on logistics requirements, risks, and sustainment impacts.
• Support development/evaluation of logistics requirements for space and ground systems.
